Installation

The ADDCO 340-series bar mounts at the rear axle and frame using the supplied brackets and hardware. ADDCO's installation instructions specify mounting the bar over the axle with the arms positioned forward and around the shock absorbers. The supplied axle brackets attach around the axle, while the frame brackets use existing holes in the lower frame flange.

Important: Verify the truck's frame configuration before ordering. ADDCO's installation instructions specifically identify the 340 application for Ford pickups with 31-inch frame centers and narrowed shock mounts.
